The traditional (old animal) ways of operating your business through direct advertising and recruiting are becoming more expensive and more time consuming. As far as im concerned, these methods and techniques are OBSOLETE! They simply require too much effort for too little return.

The new animal communicates at the speed of light across inter-linked global networks and offers you endless potential for communicating with people who  want to hear your message.

One of the best ways to generate leads in MLM and Network Marketing is to create a blog. A blog can be your largest source of leads. Not only are they a low cost marketing tool, but they are also extremely easy to set-up and use. The steps to set one up on Wordpress are simple!

1. Purchase a web hosting account and domain name (Note-choose a hosting company that features one-click installs of Wordpress, I recommend www.godaddy.com and their cheap basic hosting plan)
2. Install Wordpress using the quick install feature for site applications( If you have issues doing this contact their technical support who can help you every step of the way; they did with me!)
3. Congratulations…you’re done!! Now go to your domain, log in to wordpress and start blogging!

The key to your blog being successful generating leads is the amount of VALUABLE CONTENT it contains. You have to focus it on a topic you can write consistently about and make sure you give away quality information that readers will come back for. Focusing your topic on something no one cares about or filling your blog with sales and advertising will only turn people off and make them never want to come back.

Here’s my analogy, no one turns on the T.V. to watch commercials, they turn it on for the quality content they find entertaining. The advertisements always come second to the content! The same rule applies to your blog.

Customizing your blog for your market or niche is also easy to do and will be part of the advanced lessons for Wordpress Blogging. For now you should start by getting one set-up and practicing posting materials and identifying who your target audience and niche will be. Those are the biggest and most important tasks to start with.

                                                     Following up on my previous post, I wanted to go over one of the best ways to leverage Web 2.0 and generate thousands of free MLM leads. It all starts with creating a video you can post to YouTube that gives your target  audience VALUABLE FREE INFORMATION and promotes you and your product.

After you have posted your free educational and informative video on YouTube, you then need to sign up for every Web 2.0 platform you can. This means having accounts for:

• Myspace
• Facebook
• Squidoo
• Digg
• …and Del.icio.us too name the most popular

Once you have accounts, it is time to embed or bookmark the video in each of your profiles and promote it on each platform. And if you have a capture page for a product or a blog (if you don’t then create them!)then you should embed the video in those too and set the video to auto-play. This will turn your ordinary traffic from all of your accounts and pages into valuable “view counts” on YouTube and increase your video’s rankings!

Once you follow these steps then it’s time to sit back, relax, and watch the leads come rolling into your inbox by the hundreds!! Because now ordinary web traffic will sky-rocket your video to the top of YouTube and auto-sell your product!

Today I wanted to show everyone a list of ancient marketing strategies that are still being used today by many unsuccesful MLM and Network Marketing entreprenuers. This is a list of low-cost activities that most home business owners attempt to build their business with.

1. Buying wholesale leads
2. Cold Calling
3. Handing out business cards and hand-bills
4. Holding meetings

The common thread between each of these marketing techniques is the committment of time and energy required to perform each. The fact of the matter is that each technique is very inefficient in terms of their respective conversion ratios and require you to focus excusively on one task at a time.
